How to set up MoaTV on any device

Fire TV Stick & Fire TV

The most common setup. There's a longer version with troubleshooting on the MoaTV Firestick page.

1. Search for Downloader on the Fire TV home screen and install it.
2. In Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options, allow Downloader to install unknown apps.
3. Open Downloader and enter the Downloader code we send you on WhatsApp with your login.
4. Install the player when prompted.
5. Open the player, tap the Xtream Codes sign-in option, and fill in the username, password and server address from your WhatsApp message.

Android TV & Google TV

Sony, TCL, Hisense, Philips, Nvidia Shield and Chromecast with Google TV all work this way.

1. Install Downloader from the Play Store on the TV.
2. Allow it to install apps from unknown sources (Settings → Device Preferences → Security & Restrictions).
3. Open Downloader and enter the Downloader code we send you on WhatsApp with your login.
4. Open the player, tap the Xtream Codes sign-in option, and fill in the username, password and server address from your WhatsApp message.

Samsung & LG smart TVs

No stick needed. The player comes from the TV's own store.

1. Open the Samsung Apps or LG Content Store and search for the player we recommend (we'll name it in your WhatsApp chat).
2. Install it and open it.
3. If it shows a device code or MAC address, send it to us and we'll activate the TV.
4. Open the player, tap the Xtream Codes sign-in option, and fill in the username, password and server address from your WhatsApp message.

iPhone, iPad & Apple TV

Everything comes from the App Store.

1. Install the player we recommend from the App Store.
2. Open the player, tap the Xtream Codes sign-in option, and fill in the username, password and server address from your WhatsApp message.
3. On Apple TV, use the tvOS App Store and the same details.

Android phones & tablets

Handy for watching away from home.

1. Install the player from Google Play.
2. Open the player, tap the Xtream Codes sign-in option, and fill in the username, password and server address from your WhatsApp message.
3. Out and about on mobile data? Switch to HD to save data.

Windows & Mac

A good option for a second screen.

1. Download the desktop version of the player from its official website.
2. Open the player, tap the Xtream Codes sign-in option, and fill in the username, password and server address from your WhatsApp message.

MAG boxes

These use a portal address instead of an app.

1. Find the MAC address on the sticker underneath the box and send it to us.
2. We activate it and reply with your portal address.
3. On the box: Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals. Enter the address and save.
4. Restart the box.

When something doesn't work

• Picture keeps pausing: restart the router and the device, and move to a cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. HD needs around 10 Mbps.
• Guide shows wrong times: the device's time zone is off. Fix it in settings.
• Sign-in refused: retype the details carefully. Capitals count, and the server address must be exact.
