What is MoaTV?
In short, a live TV streaming service. Channels, sports and on-demand films come in over your internet connection to an app on your TV, Fire Stick or phone, so there's no cable box and no satellite dish involved.
MoaTV or Moa TV: which is right?
They're the same thing. The name is written as one word, MoaTV, but lots of people type it as two, Moa TV, or search for the Moa TV app. Either way you end up here.
Does MoaTV work in the USA and Canada?
Yes, both. There are US locals and US sports for American viewers, Canadian locals and every NHL team for Canadians, and the TV guide follows whatever time zone your device is set to.
What can I watch it on?
Fire TV Sticks and Fire TV televisions, Android TV and Google TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Android phones, Windows and Mac computers, plus MAG boxes. Roku isn't supported.
How do I sign in to the Moa TV app?
Open the player, pick the Xtream Codes sign-in option, then fill in the three details we send you: username, password and server address. MAG boxes are set up with a portal address instead.
How quickly can I start watching?
Usually within minutes of paying. Your login lands in the same WhatsApp chat you ordered from, and setup on a Fire Stick takes about five more.
How many screens can watch at the same time?
One screen is included with every plan, and you can go up to 5. Install the app on as many devices as you like; the plan sets how many can play together.
How do I pay?
Order on WhatsApp and we'll send the payment options for your plan in that chat. Please never type a card number into a chat message, to us or anyone else.
Is there a free trial?
There's no free trial. The shortest plan is three months, which is plenty of time to see how MoaTV runs on your own TV and internet.
Watching
Why does my picture keep pausing?
It's nearly always the home network. Restart the router and the device, use a network cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and check you have about 10 Mbps per HD screen. If only one channel misbehaves, tell us which and we'll look into it.
Is there a TV guide?
Yes. The guide shows what's on now and next with a short description, and you can scroll ahead through the day.
Can I rewind or record?
Catch-up lets you go back to recent programmes on supported channels. Recording depends on the player and device you use; we'll tell you what yours can do.
Is everything in 4K?
No. 4K appears where the broadcaster sends 4K, mostly major sport and some films. Everything else plays in HD.
Your account
Do I need a VPN?
MoaTV doesn't need one. A few customers use a VPN when their internet provider slows down video at busy times.
